The knitting kit for Härskogen was developed in 2014 from original charts and garments held in museum collections. The pattern is available as a pullover and cardigan with a round yoke and as a cardigan with a full patterned front.

The Härskogen pattern includes eleven pattern yarns. As with the original, about half of the pattern yarns are in lambswool and half in angora merino. The angora/merino yarn is spun from 50% hand-clipped angora wool from our own angora rabbits and 50% New Zealand merino wool. The lambswool is sourced from New Zealand. The yarns are spun in Denmark at Heinrichsens Uldspinderi and is dyed to match the original yarns. The main colours are dyed at the spinning mill to ensure an even saturation across the whole garment. The pattern colours are hand dyed by Pernille Silfverberg.

There are several options for the Härskogen knitting kit. The cardigan with the fully patterned front may be knitted with either a base of our natural beige angora merino or in a natural grey pure lambswool. The yoked pullover/cardigan option is only available with the natural grey pure lambswool base. The angora merino option is undyed and unbleached, as it is the natural colour of our yellow angora rabbits.
