"Pastel" was originally designed for Bohus Stickning by Annika Malmström-Bladini in 1956.
The knitting kit for pullover and cardigan with a round yoke for this design was developed in 2023 by Pernille Silfverberg from original charts and garments held in museum collections .
Pastel is knitted on light pink base no. 278 in an angora yarn spun from 50% hand-cut angora wool from our own angora rabbits and 50% New Zealand merino wool. The yarns are spun in Denmark at Henrichsens Uldspinderi and carefully dyed in for each knitting kit to authentically mimic the original yarns for design. Pattern yarns, unless background color in some other design, are hand dyed by Pernille Silfverberg.
