"The Fragile One" was originally designed for Bohus Stickning by Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn circa 1948-55. 

The knitting kit for this design was developed in 2022 from original charts and garments held in museum collections.  It is only available as a pullover or cardigan with full patterned front.

This design is knitted on light natural gray base in our wool yarn spun from New Zealand merino lambswool; NZ no. 2. Some of the yarns also contain a small amount of wool from Gotland fur sheep from England, which gives a mottled look. The yarns are spun in Denmark at Henrichsens uldspinderi and carefully dyed in for each knitting kit to authentically replicate the original yarns for design. The light grey mottled yarn for of the base garment is naturally grey mottled because the yarn was spun with wool from Gotland fur sheep and has not been dyed. The pattern yarns are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg.
