"Royal Blue" was designed for Bohus Stickning by Kerstin Olsson in 1958.

The knitting kit for Royal Blue was developed in 2015 from original charts and garments held in museum collections . The design is available as knitting kit for pullover or cardigan with patterned front and for tam .

The garment is knitted on dark blue base in our wool yarn spun from New Zealand merino lambswool, it is spun and dyed in Denmark at Henrichsens Uldspinderi and has been designed to authentically replicate original yarns. Three pattern yarns for The design consists of an angora yarn spun from 50% hand-cut angora wool from our own angora rabbits and 50% New Zealand merino wool also spun at Henrichsens Uldspinderi. The pattern yarns are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg from original yarns.
