"Hägring Gray" was originally designed for Bohus Stickning by Kerstin Olsson in 1966.

The knitting kit for this design was developed in 2022 from original charts and garments held in museum collections and is recreated as pullover and cardigan with a round yoke.  

This design is knitted on light natural gray base, NZ no. 2, in our wool yarn spun from New Zealand merino lambswool. Some of the yarns also contain a small amount of wool from Gotland fur sheep from England, giving a mottled look. The yarns are spun in Denmark at Henrichsens Uldspinderi and carefully dyed in for each knitting kit to be similar to the original yarns for the design. Pattern yarns, unless the base color in any other design or by nature's own color of the wool, are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg.
