"Stripes and Dots" was originally designed for Bohus Stickning by Kerstin Olsson in 1966. The collection also included the design "Dots".

The knitting kit for this design was developed in 2021 from original charts and garments held in museum collections and is recreated as pullover or cardigan with patterned front in gray and black/rose red design. for black/rose red is one of three pattern yarns in angora/merino wool and the sleeves have a rose red elastic at the bottom.

This design is knitted in our wool yarn spun from New Zealand merino lambswool. Some of the yarns also contain a small amount of wool from Gotland fur sheep from England, which gives a mottled look. The yarns are spun in Denmark at Henrichsens Uldspinderi and carefully dyed in for each knitting kit to authentically replicate the original yarns for design. Pattern yarns, unless the base color in any other design, are hand-dyed by Pernille Silfverberg.
